Baku 2015

Pictogram system and environmental graphics developed for the The 2015 European Games — an international multi-sport event for athletes representing the National Olympic Committees of the European Olympic Committees.

The Games featured 30 sports, 15 of them from the Summer Olympic roster, requiring a visual language that was universally intuitive, culturally resonant, and adaptable across a wide range of applications.

The 2015 European Games, also known as Baku 2015 were the inaugural edition of the European Games, an international multi-sport event for athletes representing the National Olympic Committees of the European Olympic Committees. It took place in Baku, Azerbaijan, and featured almost 6,000 athletes from 50 countries competing in 30 sports, including 15 summer Olympics.

While working at Someone, I partnered with their Design Director to create pictograms and environmental graphics used across all Games branding and collateral.
